 - Join Ranger Jared and discover the many ways life slows down, speeds up, and hangs on as animals in East Texas prepare for the cold months ahead.

- There will be plenty of hands on examples to see and feel as we explore the countless survival strategies going on all around us in the Pineywoods this time of year.

Meet @ the Rice Family Log Home. Participants may want to bring water, appropriate clothing and footwear for the outdoors, and a strong will to survive!
