Are you interested in birding? Would you like to know more about identifying birds? Learn tips on how to identify birds as you hike a one-hour easy trail. All experiences welcome!

What to bring:

• Park permit (left in vehicle)
• Water bottle
• Walking/hiking shoes (dress for the outdoors)
• Binoculars if you have them (option to borrow from Ranger)
• Optional: sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, hiking sticks Meet: Check in at the office to register and any pertinent instructions will be given at this time.  Note: Park programs are free with a Texas State Parks pass or park entrance fee - $3 per person ages 13 and up, kids 12 and under are always free! There is no extra fee for this program. 

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled.
