Are you interested in birding? Would you like to know more about identifying birds? Learn tips on how to identify birds as you hike a one-hour easy trail. All experiences welcome!

What to bring:

• Park permit (left in vehicle)
• Water bottle
• Walking/hiking shoes (dress for the outdoors)
• Binoculars if you have them (option to borrow from Ranger)
• Optional: sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, hiking sticks
• Meet: Check in at the office to register and any pertinent instructions will be given at this time.
• Note: Park programs are free with a Texas State Parks pass or park entrance fee - $3 per person ages 13 and up, kids 12 and under are always free! There is no extra fee for this program.
