Description:

Hike beneath the pines while hearing stories of why this park was built. Journey with a park ranger on a hike into the woods learning about many of the cultural and natural resource that reside within this historic park.  We will begin and end at the Rice Family Home.  This is an easy to moderate half of a mile hike with some elevation changes that should take about an hour.

Meet: Rice Family Home Bring: Drinking water, comfortable shoes, and dress for the weather. Note: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($2 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free!). No need to register -- just show up! *Events and programs are subject to cancellation due to weather, if cancelled an update will be made to this posting.
