Description:

Fort Boggy is located in Leon County and consists of 1,847 acres. It was graciously donated to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 1985 by Eileen Crain Sullivan to be developed as a state park. There is a boat ramp and the lake (approximately 15 acres) is open to small boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. The park also has a day use group pavilion, that can be reserved. This park participates in the Angler Education “Tackle Loaner Program"; individuals can borrow rods, reels and tackle boxes with hooks, sinkers and bobbers.
