Description:

Come learn about the animals that bring our history and woods to life!

Visit Mission Tejas and check out our new collection of furs, hides, skulls, and shells!

- Learn about the places in the park each group would thrive and their roles in the ecosystem of the forest around them.

- We’ll discuss how they were important to the native peoples, fur trappers, frontiersmen, and even still to you and I today.

- We hope this collection will inspire to take care of the critters that breathe life into our forests.

Meet at the Interpretive Center!

Bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the park, water, mosquito spray, and all your best questions. ***Attendance to this event is open to the public and free after regular day use or camping fees.
